Vegan Dupe: Madewell Transport Tote

Vegan Transport Tote Dupe

You know that super chic cognac tote you keep seeing models lug around via Pinterest? The almost $200 bag from Madewell, yup, that’s the one. Well, I have good news for you. The juniors section of Nordstrom has a dupe! The Street Level Reversible Faux Leather Tote (no animals harmed) is about 1/4 of the price of the original Transport Tote, and it’s reversible, so you get a 2 for 1. Plus it comes in tons of color options. The black/cognac version is my favorite. I love it because it doesn’t look like a reversible bag, it looks like your black bag is lined in cognac or your cognac back is lined in black.

Wine Me

WIne and deep red clothing perfect for Winter.I’m not quite sure I’m out of my black phase yet. But if I were to don an alternate, it would be a deep red wine. It goes great with black, purples and other reds. Mix it up.

Here are my favorites: Etnia Barcelona Sunglasses // Lizzie Fortuna Oxford Necklace // Juicy Couture Solid Ponte Dress // Painted Dress //  Free People Vegan Leather Peplum Jacket // Wine Velvet Pants // Butter London Lippy in Wine Gums // Butter London Nail Lacquer  in La Moss // Lonely High Waist Brief & Convertible Bra

Want even more? I’ve got you covered on Pinterest. Now tell me, what’s your favorite Winter shade?

{Vegan Version} Leather Sweatpants

There are a couple of statement items you need this Fall/Winter season. One of them, is a pair of leather joggers, AKA leather sweatpants. Luckily, MOST of the ones out right now are actually faux leather. (Yay!) The only real leather pair I’ve seen so far are by Marc Jacobs and are priced at over $900. For most us, that is just too much to spend on a pair of seasonal pants. Not to fear, there are some great alternatives. If you are ready to try the trend, here are six different options that fit very different budgets.

Paint It Black

I’m all for color but every once in a while. I just want it all to go black. Only black. Luckily, it’s October and you can get away with everything from black lips and nails to veils. PS If any of you find the Lime Crime Opaque lipstick in Styletto, please notify me immediately or send me a tube, I’ll be your friend forever.
Black must haves for Fall.
Would it be wrong to wear a back pack with a party dress? I’m thinking that it sounds like a good idea to me. So here’s what we’ve got, going clockwise from the top: BLACK MAJOR MINI DRESS by: AQ/AQ // Nora Earrings by: Dara Ettinger // Heart Bracelet by: tuleste market // Packable Backpack by: Marc by Marc Jacobs // Drew Metallic Oxford Black by: Cri De Coeur //  Sammy Strappy Laceup Platform Sandal by: Cri De Coeur

Now tell me, are you ready to party?

{Vegan Version} D'Orsay Flats

Vegan D'Orsay Flats
I don’t know if you heard the news yet but if you are wearing flat this spring they better be of the d’orsay variety. It’s safe to say that Jenni Kayne’s rendition of the shoe is one of the most popular of the season, but with a price tag of over $400 and the leather, what’s a vegan gal to do? Or a girl on a budget? Don’t worry, I have you covered.

The top three shoes are the Report Jezzica, available in 3 colorways for the friendlier price tag of $70. I also love Lulu’s version, The Dolley, that comes in pale pink AND mint for $21. I’ve spotted some at Forever 21 for under $20 but they are not currently online, so alas, you’ll have to just go down to the store yourself you if want to get a super cheap d’orsay flat fix.

Are you going to rock the d’orsay flat this season?
