Here it is, my DIY Beaded Hand Piece, it uses two sizes of delicate copper chain, petrified wood beads and an over-sized circle-spring clasp for it’s unique design. I feel that was really makes this design unique is the clasp. Most hand pieces hide the clasp in your inner wrist. In this piece the over-sized clasps doesn’t have a specific jump ring to link to and instead, it links around the chain which allows the piece to be flexible and move with you, never encumbering your hand.
I made this piece as an entry into Altitude Design Summit’s contest with Kollabora & Bernina. I hoping to win a ticket to Alt Summit and a chance to teach a jewelry-making design camp at the conference.
To win, I need as many people as possible to re-pin my pin of the post on pinterest. So go ahead, do a girl a favor, a head on over to repin my DIY Beaded Hand Piece, then click on through to Kollabora to find my latest tutorial. It’s a super cool site where anyone, even if you don’t have a blog, can upload tutorials for jewelry-making, knitting or sewing and share them with the world.
Thank you all so much, enjoy!
